I have always wanted to make a bear out of recycled fur. Well this is the book that will teach you how. It is only for the person who is willing to be a patient sewer, but then aren't all teddy bear makers? A very exciting book, with beautiful photos and Nancy Tillburg is sharing everything with the teddy bear world. I highly recommend this book.

This book was very helpful in my first bear (and bunny!) making adventure. Although some of the instructions had me tilting my head in confusion, for the most part, this book made sewing my bear very easy. Her instructions are in depth, and there are many pictures to follow. You can easily learn the different stitch techniques, as the pictures are large and very well explained. This is a great starting point if you are new to bear making. Thank you, Nancy!

This is such a great book. I like the fact that she takes the songwriting process and breaks it down into manageable steps so that I keep moving forward with my writing! A 'must have' for any songwriter

Tough to rate, depends a little on what you are looking for.

I'm delving into songwriting and came across this and another book of hers after discovering her youtube videos (which I found entertaining and informative). My goal was to have a better understanding of the process of writing so I wasn't aimless. I don't feel that this helped me much I've read about 5 books now, and can honestly say that I can't remember one tip that I've personally used from either book (the other book was 'study the hits', which I don't even remember - suggesting that I didn't take anything from it.)

Now, that said... there are some people for whom the book will be much more useful. One of my downfalls is that my music theory is weak and I have no ability to analyze and pick apart songs in a technical manner. So If she says to deconstruct a favorite and try to copy it and then gradually individualize it until it is something new, I can't do that at this time. If, you can there were some things relating to that. She also had some tips regarding the navigating and dealing with things in the industry. That's not a goal of mine, but if it is for you, again it may be a more useful book for you. But for the complete newb like myself, I just didn't gather much - I haven't gotten to rating them yet, but found guitar scales in context and how to write songs on the guitar to be much more useful books for me.

Magnífica Historia!

Siempre en el caso de Barb tengoque decir que mis esfuerzos por ser objetiva son grandes, ella es de mis consentidas, cómo no?, si Miénteme el primer libro de esta Saga me abrió un mundo maravilloso, hoy los Ángeles Prohibidos de la mano de Barb nos traen Perdóname he de decir que la historia me encantó, es el tan esperado final de la historia de Kiks y Trevor, no la pude soltar hasta terminarla, la narración es impecable, sentía las emociones de los personajes cómo propias, es cómo me dijeron una montaña rusa de emociones, pasa uno por la tristeza, la soledad y la desesperanza, por enojo, siente un gran amor y una frustración, preocupación, felicidad y tranquilidad,cómo propias, sólo los buenos escritores logran que esto sea posible, y Barb es una de ellos!. Dicho esto sólo refirmo que el desarrollo de la trama logra el efecto que desea que es precisamente, vivir la historia.La soledad y la tristeza de Kiks rompe y toca fibras de cualquier ser humano, lo mismo la desesperación y el arrepentimiento de Trevor y su lucha por recuperar a su amor!
Odié a Omar pero luego tuvo su redención (aunque para mí es imperdonable el enagño de más de 10 años a Kiks, y su agresividad) a Octavia no la tolero que cruel y viceral esa muchachita, y visto lo visto hace que concluya que no es más que una resentida, Dasha y Robert me encantaron, cómo ella se gana su propio lugar con Kiks, y el resto del grupo, Ashe, Seth y Hellen espectaculares como amigos? El escenario del fantasma lo amé, que obra! La podía imaginar! Incluso busqué algunas de las canciones mientras leía.
Considero necesario mencionar a Owen quien es un sol cómo enfoca la paternidad e su hermana cómo apoya a su madre (y a su padre) un personaje memorable, merece a mi parecer su propia historia, me gustan los finales felices, me gustan las historias con fundamento y esta lo es en todo el sentido. Muy pocas historias son tan completas y maravillosas. La espera ha valido la pena y no me importa esperar por más...No puedo terminar esta reseña sin agradecer a la autora el gesto que ha tenido conmigo, siempre Perdóname va ser importante para mí y vos más que una autora sos un ser humano al que aprecio y admiro, GRACIAS TOTALES,

Como ser objetiva con un libro tan esperado? Ni recuerdo como llegue al primer libro de la saga Ángel Prohibido "Miénteme", solo sé que lo devoré y al terminarlo a pesar de que la historia me atrapó, me dejó un sabor amargo por su final inconcluso. Sin embargo, tenía esperanzas de que en algún momento los personajes de esta historia se reencontraran y pudieran tener su hermoso final. Así fui leyendo cada uno de los libros y siempre había algo que te decía que esa historia no había terminado, no aún. Con los extras, conocimos un poco más algunas situaciones que complementaban lo que ya habíamos leído y así llego 9 Crimes, donde descubrimos lo que Trevor sentía, su dolor y la esperanza por ese final creció Pues QUE FINAL, me dejó con el corazón a millón y con ganas de mucho mas. Sufrí durante todo el libro tantas emociones: la angustia, la lucha de Kiks, la perseverancia de Trevor, la rabia e indignación contra Omar, Phil y la bruja de Octavia, la tristeza, la renuncia, su desesperación y finalmente el amor que todo lo puede. La espera de mas de 5 meses por este libro valió la pena. Es un libro fenomenal como todos los libros de esta escritora. Mis expectativas de esta esperadísima historia fueron satisfechas mejor de lo que yo me imagine. Me quedo triste al saber terminada la saga y no saber mas de los personajes tan reales y comunes de esta historia. Pero me quedo con un buen sabor de boca por haber leído la mas extraordinaria saga que a caído en mis manos. 100% recomendada.
